Ultimately we need a web standard but because HTML is a standard across all browsers it is a standard that has to move slowly and more cautiously. RIA can implement new technologies very quickly and where it shines more than the standards, the standards will inevitably follow.</description>

		<description>Could not agree more! Unfortunatly it looks like the &quot;stupid&quot; bloggers have won this war. All the developpers around me now deeply beleive that RIAs are dead... The anouncement made by Adobe recently killed the last bit of hope and even though it could not be the end, people believe it now...

I wish developpers (and clients) would be smater and realise that RIAs can be a great solution, way better than HTML5 in some areas.</description>
